This policy is designed for digital subscriptions and should be aligned with the final checkout flow, PayPal settings, app store rules, and local consumer law before launch.
1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for OptionExpert subscriptions, trials, digital features, real-time data features, signals, alerts, AI briefs, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
2. Free Trial
We may offer a free trial, including a 3-day trial, at our discretion. Trial terms will be shown at checkout or in the Service. You may cancel during the trial to avoid future charges.
If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription may automatically convert to a paid subscription and renew according to the billing terms shown at checkout.
3. Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorize PayPal or another payment processor to charge your payment method for recurring subscription fees, applicable taxes, and other amounts disclosed at checkout.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless otherwise stated, cancellation does not immediately terminate access to paid features. You may continue using paid features until the end of the current billing period, subject to the Terms of Service.
You may need to cancel through the same payment platform or account settings used to subscribe, such as PayPal subscription settings, app store subscription settings, or OptionExpert account settings.
5. General No-Refund Rule
Because OptionExpert provides digital services, market data features, analytics, alerts, and other immediately accessible software features, paid subscription periods are generally non-refundable once the billing period begins.
We generally do not provide prorated refunds for unused time, partial months, changes in trading activity, market closures, user inactivity, accidental continued subscriptions after a trial, or failure to cancel before renewal.
6. Refund Review Cases
We may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis for issues such as:
- duplicate charges;
- incorrect charges caused by a technical or billing error;
- verified service failure that prevented access to paid features for a material portion of the billing period;
- unauthorized charges supported by reasonable evidence;
- other circumstances where applicable law requires a refund.
Approval of a refund in one case does not guarantee refunds in other cases.
7. Real-Time and Premium Data Features
Real-time or near-real-time data, second-level aggregation, paid signals, alerts, AI brief features, and other digital premium features are generally not refundable once activated or used, except where required by law or approved by us after review.
8. PayPal Disputes and Chargebacks
If you paid through PayPal, PayPal's dispute and buyer protection processes may apply. We may respond to PayPal disputes with account records, subscription records, login records, cancellation records, service availability records, and other relevant information.
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, we may suspend or restrict your account while the dispute is pending, to the extent permitted by law and payment processor rules.
9. How to Request a Refund Review
To request a refund review, contact support@optionexpert.net and include:
- the email address associated with your OptionExpert account;
- PayPal transaction ID or subscription ID, if available;
- the billing date and amount;
- the reason for your request;
- screenshots or supporting details, if relevant.
We may request additional information to verify the request.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our website or in the Service. The effective date will indicate when it was last updated.
